The Washington Events B2B Support Grant, in collaboration with Washington Events and the B2B Roundtable, is dedicated to fostering the growth and advancement of small, for-profit businesses, and some nonprofit service providers within the Tri-County Michigan area.

ABOUT THE GRANT:

The "IT TAKES TWO" Business to Business Support Grants aim to offer both financial assistance and service support to organizations engaged in training, program development, and technical assistance across various Washington Events B2B Support Grant programs. These initiatives are specifically crafted to promote entrepreneurship and ensure equal opportunities for all participants.

 KEY FEATURES:

 

  • Dual Support System: The grants operate on the principle of aligning two businesses – one seeking services and one providing them. 

  • Enhanced Relationships: Facilitate the establishment of new business relationships, garner fresh testimonials, and attract new clientele. 

  • Wide Reach: By catering to the needs of two businesses simultaneously, the grant serves a dual purpose, enhancing the impact and reach of each supported endeavor.

ELIGIBILITY:

 

  • Location: Must be within the Oakland, Macomb, or Wayne County Michigan area.

  • Type: For-profit businesses and certain nonprofit service providers.

  • Membership: Must sign up as a member of the B2B Roundtable. The first year of membership is free.

  • Participation: Must register and attend at least two networking events in the remaining 2024 year and at least four events in 2025.

  • **Engagement: Must be involved in training, program development, or technical assistance. (If needed).

HOW TO APPLY:

  1. Review Requirements: Thoroughly read the Request for Applications (RFA) document.

  2. Prepare Documentation: Gather necessary documents including proof of business registration, and proof of address.

  3. Submit Online: Complete the online application form within the designated timeframe.
